Lifting Rings

The Extreme X8 powerchair can be fitted with either black or silver lifting rings, which allows the chair to be hoisted onto utes or a utility vehicle with lifting straps. This makes transporting the Extreme X8 from point A to point B much easier. The lifting rings are affixed to the centre of the wheels at four points on the chair, and are tested to a maximum rated load of 250kg. The user must vacate the chair before hoisting it.

Please note that lifting rings are not a substitute for tie down rings:

• They are NOT crash tested
• They are NOT a restraint point
• They are NOT to be used while the powerchair is occupied
